Just recently the input jack on my amp has been acting weird. I plug in a cable and no sound, but if i jimmy the cable up, ill hear sound. Could it be fauly input jack? Is it expensive to repair, or better to do by myself? I appreciate any replies.-Dan

I had the same prob with my JCM800. I just resoldered the pins of the jack to the board and now it is fine. The jacks in the amps don't seem to be very good quality though, and replacing it might be a good option. Shouldn't be expensive either.
