I normally wouldn't be interested in one of these, but as MF has it for $99 bucks, it's something that could come in handy (and portable)....especially since both kids are coming along with playing and starting to take my stuff.... using it clean would probably be O.K. for bass as well. I tinkered with one a while back (small and cute), but I was wondering if any one has spent some time with one? Is it worth it?

Well...they guys who like it...REALLY like it, and everyone else seems to have got a dud (or D.O.A.) unit. One review was telling: There's a manufacturer tech update for ye... Also if using the effects loop, you loose front panel controls. Not a problem if you're pedal is controlling volume, but that's not how I usually set my Digitech. Chris, the above link is stunted, this link should work: PowerBlockStill....for 100 bucks with free shipping....it's hard to pass on....

Watch it Sparky, or us Luddites may just flail you aboot the head and shoulder region with hand-tossed (as opposed to thin 'n crispy) wooden shoes whilst you chuckle.
After all, we didn't invent sabotage (the throwing of [wooden] shoes [sabots]) into the gears of the machinery fer nuthin'. (I have been around fer a while since I did indeed invent agriculture.)

Sorry, I believe that no one (especially meself) can be even the least bit serious when using the name "Sparky"! ;D
I'm a Luddite in that I can never remember how to circumvent Proboards whilst posting a link with "difficult" characters within.
AND, how many folks knew where the term sabotage came from?
