I have a Peavey Delta Blues combo, I've done some minor changes; swapped out the 15' for a 12' Weber vintage series, and replaced the Sovtek power tubes with matched Tesla's and an E-H 12AU7A for a driver. I still use the EH 12AX7's in the pre-amp stage. The tone is pretty good.
What I would like to do is add a stand-by switch for the tube filaments. It looks like I have room on the amp case to put it right next to the power switch, has anyone done this Mod? May-be on another brand of amp? I'm sure I could do it with proper instruction......
