I have a Marshall 100hdfx , and recently the fuse blew, no big deal. I bought replacement fuses and I went through 8 of them in a row.
All of the Fuses blew no more than 2 seconds after I turned the power on to the head.
They are the same amp fuses as the one that came with the head. What is going on!? What could I have overlooked?

Fuses blow for a lot of different reasons - but you need to remember that their purpose is to protect the main circuitry AND YOU from voltages that will damage the rest of the amp and possibly KILL YOU.
If the fuse keeps blowing, there's something wrong that can't be fixed by simply replacing the fuse. UNPLUG the amp immediately & don't use it again until it's repaired by a qualified amp tech.
As for what's causing the problem (unk, sumgai, ChrisK - a little help?) only someone who knows what they're doing should attempt to troubleshoot and fix it.
I'm not trying to demean you 'cause heaven knows I'm not qualified to even guess as to what the problem is: but I'm ahead of you if I know that repeated fuse failure is not normal, and IS a "big deal".
Please - get the amp checked out by a qualified tech.

funkblaster, PH has it correct, I hope you paid attention. If the last 15 minutes I just spent on the web are any indication, your amp uses transistors instead of tubes. You'd think that at least Marshall's site would mention tubes, if the amp had 'em, but nope, no such thing. Therefore, I conclude that you have one blown output transistor. Don't stop to screw around, unless you are a trained tech, just get it into the shop asap. Hopefully for you, the warranty is still in effect, otherwise, you might be looking at waving goodbye to a portrait of Ben Franklin. sumgai
