All, EDITThis post has been completely re-worked. All of the postings below that refer to an eBay link in this message had merit while the auction was in place. Now that it has ended, the link won't work, thus it has been replaced with photos from my image server. /editRecently there was an auction on eBay for a Dillion DTT70. Sadly, the seller wanted about $250 more than a new one, and all because it had a Roland GK-2A pickup mounted on it. Obviously no one else was silly enough to think that the beast was worth that kind of moolah. The reason for posting it here was simply the view of the second control panel, ostensibly for the GK's controls. Looked rather attractive, to my eye. That was all. sumgai

Tyler, just an FYI but youre link isnt working. i just switched it up to my mac to try it and still nothing. The way that link is built doesn't look right to me, in my experience, but I did take it straight from the address bar, and at that, I took it first from another forum (a Yahoo group), and just pasted it in, so I know it worked at least once. Not to mention, it would appear that dunklefalke saw it too. sumgai

It certainly looks to me as if eBay is building a new system for naming their links. When I search for 'casio pg-380', I get a results page, and clicking on the single item thereon, I end up at dunklefalke's guitar above - but the link is about 40 characters longer, and is built just like mine! I can't force eBay to let me enter the item number any other way, it just won't cooperate. But only time will tell if this becomes a problem for eBay or not. They'll know within hours if people can't log in and buy/sell stuff, and I'm pretty sure they'll be able to guess exactly what that might be. sumgai

dunk, Your method works, yes indeed! (My previous post has been modified.) I had to turn off one of my proxy filters in order to make it work, but that was no sweat. However, we didn't used to have to go through shenanigans like this, eBay did exactly the same thing for us. I have a feeling that eventually, after a search on an item number, they will fill the address bar with the newer, longer link verbiage. I'm betting this is being done both to prevent spoofing and deep linking. Not sure why they'd do this, but that is one possible scenario. sumgai
