Fallow this link www.fender.com/support/amp_schematics/to the Fender(tm) site and you should be able to find what you are looking for. If not, there is a contact support link as well and I have found that they are more than willing to assist in matters such as these. The Fender(tm) corp. would rather assist in preserving them rather than crushing them. Good luck !

thanks for the info really helpful. Have either of you ever done any amp wiring. I remember hearing that amps store electricity and need to be drained before working on them. Is it impssible for a begginer sparkey to rewire what seems to be a simple amp? and are there any pointers you could offer. thanks again, damian.

If mess with my amp a little, but it can be very dangerous(even deadly) if you don't know what your doing, or if you are careless. I would serach out a tube amp repair/modding book and study up beofre taking on anything too drastic...

You can get shocked working on amps even if it's unpowered. The capacitors should be tapped with a screwdriver to drain them.
that's what I know. I think it a good idea to take it to a tech if you're unconfortable, or maybe just if it's your first project.
65 blackface BM is too nice to meddle with by way of experiment. Are you sure it wasn't a silverface modded to blackface? I wouldn't know what interesting mod to do with a 65 BF as everybody wants to have exactly this circuit.
I have a blackfaced 72 Super Reverb myself and a good tech, which is a real find over here in Europe.
