Hello,
Is there anyway to test a tube with a standard multimeter?

human, Nope, sorry, all you can do is determine if the heater filament is connected or not. But you can do that just by looking at the tube within its socket - no little glow equals an open filament. You can use your multimeter to do a voltage check on the filament pins of that socket, so there's no need to measure the tube with a meter. The rest of the tube's functions are a) high voltage, and b) dependent on there being no physical connection between the various elements. They all operate in vacuum. HTH sumgai
