Hi, been a long time.

I'm working on playing By The Way, Red Hot Chili Peppers. I have the riffs and grooves down, but I'm wondering how to perfect the sound... don't know how to describe it. It's druing the verse and the guitar (I guess) is making somewhat of a machine gun sound. Is it just delay and muted strumming?
