im looking for acheap simple volume pedal...nothing fancy, i just need it for my rp100 cuz i can hook up a passive volume pedal to control wah and other effects... anything will do really as long as its passive

vF, I checked the web, and it was awhile before I found an indirect reference to the Rogue VP-201 being a passive device. I had thought so, the price being what it is, but also, there's no mention of battery life, or of what kind of battery (9v, penlight, ?). That's the rule of thumb.... if there's no mention of a battery, or if the price is amazingly low, then it's probably passive. Emphasis on the "probably". sumgai

Hello, I'm new here and this thread just caught me eye. I bought a Bespeco passive volume pedal about ten years ago. Although it was very cheap (about 20 GBP) it has performed almost faultlessly. On one occasion I had to resolder a couple of joints, but it does get a lot of use.

When I see Rogue I run. I have never seen anything by Rogue that even approximated quality.
