Does anyone own an Ernie Ball 6166 volume pedal?

Is it possible to take it apart to rewire? I'm thinking about getting one to convert to a wah pedal...

(I know, it would be quicker and simpler to just buy a wah pedal, but partly, I really like the look of this pedal, and I'm liking the idea of making my own effects)

im not familiar w/ the unit, but im sure you can mod it. if you can find a schematic for a hendrix wah, there was a switch on it that allowed it to be used as a volume and a wah.... even if you dont want that, find a wah w/ the sound you like, then find the schematic. you have the casing for it, but wire it to be so...

you could always just use the electronics of a real wah and use the case and the potentiometer of your favorite Ernie Ball volume. If you're feeling ballzy, go for it.
