all 3 pots on my ts5 have finally gotten so scratchy that I dare not touch them, and instead of pickuping up a 9 or an 808, i might as well crack it open. So, its time to replace them. Im going to actually replace the black plastic case with something more solid, so i will have room for any kind of pot and or mod I need/want to do. I already replaced the switch years ago.
anyway, i cant seem to find the numbers anywhere of what I can use (not necessarily what is currently in it). So, volume, tone and gain.. what works? and can radioshack carry it?

you might try spraying contact cleaner into the back casing and working it left & right. Thanks guys for months of inspiration, keep it up, and hope that helps yer little green monster

gitty, Welcome to the forums! As usual, this is the proper "first step" in quieting down noisy pots. Cheapest way to solve the problem, providing they aren't completely worn out. And that's the best screen name I've seen in years!! +1 just for making me laugh so loud that the cat was startled into taking a rare swipe at me! ;D sumgai
