mike, And how should I regard your post..... it doesn't look like a question, so it must be several statements, right? But about what...... the three clauses are distinctly separate and independent of each other. Throw a guy a lifeline, please.......  And hopefully, it'll be relevant to stomp boxes, too.  sumgai edit: Ah, I see from another topic that the name "Uber Metal" designates a stomp box. So far, so good...... now, Mike, for the $64,000 question, what's so fantastic about this thing that makes you wanna start a thread devoted to it? IOW, why is it a "must have" effect? Uber Metal by Line 6: Simply plug into it. You want 80's metal.? You want Zack Wylde with the EMG's? You want this insane metal without the hum? Well, that's what you get and it has a 2 level noise gate. Sounds awsome with humbuckers and single coils.
