Boss ac-3

does anybody have any experience with the Boss AC-3 Acoustic Simulator? I have several Boss pedals and they are great, but haven't tried this one yet.

The AC-2 sounds very electro-acoustic to me, but it could be handy in a live situatuion when all the audience hears is the 'electro' part of the equation anyway! Otherwise have fun playing with virtual pedals!

I went ahead an got one, and here's what I've experienced so far: With my Tele it does give a pretty fair impression of an acoustic, with my strat copy and the PRS it is pretty useless. I ran my Washburn acoustic with a piezo through it and it didn't really clean it up much. So all in all, if I was playing live and used it in combo with the Tele it would be quite useful. Otherwise, it's not worth the money.
