I have a couple of questions that I was wondering about. So here goes. I have a couple of pedals that I want to mod (Boss DS-1 and a Crybaby 535Q). The first question relates to the DS-1. I was wondering if anybody knew of a place I could find mini rotary switches. Im not sure they even make such a thing, but it seems possible. I just need it to fit in the DS-1's enclosure. So I was thinking of something that was dime sized or so. Im not concerned with how many positions are on it. Any number from 4 to 6 or somewhere in that range would be great. So, any ideas? My second question was about the Crybaby Wah. I dont like the stock tone that it has and I was looking into changing the inductor (unfortunately that seems to be one of the only things that I can change since most of it appears to be integrated circuits ). On my quest for replacement inductors I found Whipple Halo Inductor and the Fasel Inductor. I was just wondering if anybody had tried either of these out and what they thought about them. The pedal right now has a really trebley nasely sound and I was looking to get a warmer fuller sound. From what I hear the red Fasels are warmer than the yellow fasels. I am open to suggestions for other inductors that are out there if they sound warm. Thanks for your time!
