(Moved by sumgai, because it's turned into a photo-fest. ) I have owned the black strat plus for over 10 years. It has been everywhere and done 400+ shows. It has been in two car crashes and it has been lost twice. I have never had a problem with it. It is a little worse for wear on the outside, but it is still reliable for gigging. I love the hardware on it such as the locking tuners, the roller nut and of course the pickups. I got the bridge pickup for a bit more chunkier sound(im a metal fan at heart), i still have the original. I mostly use the neck pickup now. I bought the sunburst one a few months ago. It has been better looked after. It has a different sound to the black one, but feels exactly the same except it slightly less heavy. It has a humbucker of lace sensors and a small switch to select between each single coil or both(humbucker). The hardware is chrome. I hope it serves me as well as the black one has. I am playing the sunburst one tonight(no need to take a backup), I will crank it up for ya's.

i have played and gigged with the strat ultra's and i have got to tell you that they are some of the best guitars that fender has offered. Just the feel, playability, versatility, and the asthetics are second to no other strat i have played. no i haven't owned one but i have spent a great deal of time with the ones that belong to my cousin. he has one that is blue burst with the standard trem, and a crimson burst with the floyd rose 2 trem on it and they are both awesome guitars

I had a Strat Plus about....hmmmmm? 13 years ago. The only thing I wasnt fond of were the lace sensors.
I put a hotrail in the bridge, and two Texas Antiquities in the middle, neck positions and all was well. I did sell it though, I had too many guitars and "Wifey"...ex-wifey now said because we had a baby on the way maybe it would make sense to clean house of excess.
2 years later I did.....I got rid of her! ;D

Other guitars that i have. Left to Right: Blue Ibanez: Copy of a Jem. Very solid. Very well made. Made by Team Craft. Blue Yamaha RGX: Built like a tank. Always wanted a yamaha, they make excelent guitars. Silver Ibanez RG??? I bought the body with the pickups in it. Bought a paddle neck blank and shaped the headstock like an ibanez and installed locking trem. Its still in progress. I was planning to make a white PGM with f-holes but i am satisfied with the silver finish. White Ibanez: Cheap copy of an Ibanez Jem. Looks great, but has cheap hardware on it. I want to sell this one soon. I also have two other Ibanez guitars which are in pieces at the moment. A red EX3?? that has broken where the trem posts go. I am planning on putting a LP style bridge on it and a black SA (sabre) that i havent got around to putting together yet.

In breaking with the photo-fest, I'll weigh in on the 2 strats. ;D I owned a '91 deluxe strat plus with the red, silver and blue sensors. I really liked it until I bought a '95 deluxe strat with 3 gold sensors. The '95 made the '91 sound like it had no soul. I never played it anymore so I sold it. I still have the '95 and it's one of my main guitars. I also prefer the (ball bearing) nut on the '95. I can see where it might not be optimal for heavy trem work but mine is blocked.
