Now that Musicians Friend has made amends, I've been perusing their site regularly again. I came across a deal this week that I decided to pop for... An ART Tube MP StudioFor $30 if it sucks, I'm not out much, but it seems to be fairly well reviewed from multiple sites. With the Epi LP, I find myself venturing down two flights of stairs to the basement to pull out the ol' Knight Tube PA to play through, so I figure with this and the FM 212's clean channel, I should be a bit closer to that sound. Does anyone have one? Likes, dislikes?

I have an ART TubeMP Project that I use for cleaning up the piezo sound on my acoustic and as a pre-amp for vocals. It's a rugged, simple unit, and I think it is one of the best bang-for-bucks pre-amps around. Having a meter like the Studio would be nice, but I get by with the Project version.

What, it's on sale again? Man, they must be having trouble clearing them out. Anyway though, it also seems to be a cheap way to just get the parts for something else.
