Yeah, I posted it on Project Guitar as well, he saw it there.
I'm still totally drooling over this guitar! It is too bad it's so expensive. It would be cool if I could find one with a broken neck or something, that someone is selling for cheap. Just salvage the electronics on it and build a new neck and body. Of course, if they can afford that guitar, they can probably afford to fix it!

I don't think so... They'd be broke after buying it.

I've just got round to checking this out properly.
Ok, so that is a vast amount of money for a musical instrument, but it really does have a lot to take in with it. It sounds like a very well built item with lots of cool options.
I think the sustain/mute features are going to be the most used effects, whilst the more synth powered effects just sound a lot like synths. Not a bad thing, but more a way of making old sounds a new way.
I could hear some Vai sort of sounds in the stuff they were playing, so I'm sure there are plenty of good uses for the thing, and eventually someone will have the cash to spend and the time on their hands to get the full potential from it.
I'd be keen to hear it used as a straight guitar as well though- if it doesn't sound great that way too, one might as well buy a keyboard instead!
