I need to re-tension my output tube sockets (6L6) as I put a brand of tubes in there that had very large pins and now I want to switch to some other (better) tubes with smaller pins. What is the proper side of the socket to do this from? I assume the side the tubes are inserted into. What is the proper way to do this? I was thinking about using a plastic dental pick. I do know how to bleed off the high voltage so don't worry about that. I have modified this BF amp quite a bit.
