Bill Larence 500XL's..the good ones?

I was checking out Bill Lawrence pickups because I heard his pickups were real good..but Im not sure where you get his pickups..I have found sites that sell Designed By Bill Lawrence pickups..been on Harmony and read reviews and seems the quality of pickups of the Designed by.. are not good..they dont sound good from some of the reviews..Where do you get the good ones..??I found his official site and followed link to

There like $55..I thought his pickups were more expensive??Duncans,Dimarzio,..etc are like $80 up..

Doesn't look like any of the single coil pickups have beveled magnets. Not something I would be looking for.

Ok..after reading more reviews it seems the ones that i read that were getting bad reviews were the billlawrence.usa pickups..

If im reading things right the Wilde USA are his pickups..

Currently Jzchak 'EZ' Wajcman is producing pickups using the trade mark "Bill Lawrence" and Bill Lawrence(Willi Lorenz Stich) is producing pickups with wife Becky under the names Wilde and Keystone, which carry the tag "designs by Bill Lawrence"


I just thought that since he was suppose to be this pickup guru and has all the patents and has designed pickups for Gibson,Fender....his pickups would be expensive..
