I have a five year old Fender Blues Junior which has mostly been played at home. I have been impressed by the reviews of the Blackheart Killer Ant and am considering selling my BJr' and a couple of accoustic guitars to fund the purchase of an ant and a Blueridge BR63 small bodied accoustic. I have an idea of what I can sell the accoustics for but have no idea of second hand amp prices. Can any members shed any light on what the going price is for a used BJr'?.

I always think that if in doubt, about two thirds of what you paid for it is a good starting place, for any 'as new' second hand goods. Obviously knock a bit off that for every bit of damage or other off-putting stuff. It's just a rough guide, but the other option is to start scouring Ebay and suchlike for other examples- 2nd hand value can be a funny thing and can be nothing, can be almost as much as the new article. Fender gear holds its value pretty well as a rule though. Once it's sold, will you be changing your forum name?

I bought mine about a year ago for $400. It's about the same age as yours, and in about the same condition, but it did already have the BillM mods done when I got it. I'd still consider that a fair price, all things considered.

Hi,
I've been tracking them on Ebay for the past few weeks. The black tolex versions are a dime a dozen it seems, and are fetching in the $300+ range. The Blonde and Tweed ones command higher prices. They've been in the high $300's low $400's. I believe they have the "upgraded" Jensen speaker. Hope this helps!
