RG Kit from BYOGuitar.com?

Hi, I'm planning on buying the RG kit from BYOGuitar.com. I tried searching for reviews for the site and their products and I can't find much. I found their eBay store and they have a lot of positive feedback, but they don't really answer my question. Has anyone bought from this site or know anything about it?

Well, if they had a lot of negative feedback on their site one would question their sanity.....

I looked on harmonycentral.com and didn't see anything.


I looked at BYOGuitar.com.

The RG kit is $149. They're making at least $49 on each kit. At the most, you're getting $100 worth in parts.

A true Floyd Rose vibrato costs $180 retail. A cheap neck costs $100 mail order. You can expect to have to have a fret leveling job done on the kit neck.

You're getting essentially a Squier-level guitar without the benefit of even a Squier quality setup.

Caveat emptor.
