You as well, Chris. I'm afraid I don't have any witty pictures though. 'Tis a shame.

No witty pictures either- in fact I can't seem to find my digital camera, so no pictures at all for now. I do have some charts marking 'Guitar I have built/Guitar I have not yet built' though! The UK doesn't make much space in the working schedule for Thanksgiving, much to my wifes chagrin, so we will miss it this year, but to those who have the luxury, have a great time. And try to keep the pumpkins down!

Sure they do. They're the weekly "banking holidays", and "let's get some Guy to go try to blow up the government building but fail" day.
BTW, my daughter sez that regular gasoline in Virginia was $1.649 yesterday. That's a pound per U.S. gallon.
Also, a cross-state gasoline pipeline blew near PGH yesterday, putting many gallons into the air and ecosystem. That was the bad news. The good news is that the cost was minimal.

I thought a timely bump of this thread to be appropriate. Rest in Peace, Chris. We are all thankful to have enjoyed your wit and humor while you were with us and your contributions live on. In other news, I watched a PBS-Nature episode entitled "My Life as a Turkey" last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it, however that won't change my choice from the menu today.

Yes, a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. And RIP to ChrisK. Unfortunately, the humorous links in his original post are (as he would have said) "bustido".

Yes, a Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. And RIP to ChrisK. Unfortunately, the humorous links in his original post are (as he would have said) "bustido". I think I might have tracked down alternative sources for those broken links. I've taken the liberty of updating the links in the below quote of Chris's original post (best guesses based upon the text of the original links - perhaps you will remember when you see them). Chris seemed like a pretty unique individual, highly intelligent, a good guy, and witty too. But, alas, I joined some time after he passed away. In fact, my first post here was addressing him, not realising that he was no more. RIP Chris.

Those are indeed the links, IIRC. Good work, col.
