It's funny someone is actually making these. There used to be a woman in a place I used to support that had such an acidic body chemistry she used to do that to a keyboard in about 4 months.
I guess I know where she's working now...

ah, yes. the (in)famous ibm model m keyboard, just without any letters on the keys.
they could kill, you know. either by their sheer weight, or by the loud clicking as you type.

The IBM Selectric typewriter had a relay armature that was activated for every key press.
The keyboard itself didn't click, but the typewriter still sounded like an old electric typewriter. It's called marketing.
The Rolls with the electric manual shifter had a solenoid that struck a plate on the car frame as one shifted so that it still felt like a mechanical manual transmission.
Perception is reality.
