I did this mod maybe ten years ago. saw it in a popular guitar mag.EZ. mods etc. it went like this. take out aux. speaker jack and install . pot. connect wires from aux. jack to pot. increase pot for more of this sound that was like it was on 11 and ready to blow-up after some time I took it off. I would like to try it again but cant find the mag. or any info on web So i thought I would give this a try. value of pot? and, Wiring? Any input would be greatly appreciated....

Hello and welcome!
Afraid I can't offer any thoughts on your Bandmaster mod. If someone is familiar with this, I'm sure they'll chime in.
You may need to clarify your post a little bit. I understand this involves replacing the aux speaker jack with a pot of unknown value, which then provides some increased gain such that the amp sounds like it's at "11" and ready to melt down. Have I got that right?
At first blush, this sounds like it might very well cause your B-master to self-destruct. But, again, this is outside of my ken.

Hey Newie Thanks for the reply, started to think about mods, just for fun. but cant remember the setup. I think it has to do with a feedback loop... well thanks again
