Hi,
newbie here. I recently picked up a VC508 and read the mods done on guitarnuts and was wondering if anyone had a photo of the tone control mod? I looked at the pot but couldn't see what was meant by the wiper and one end of the pot.
"I've never liked the way the so-called tone control works on this amp - it basically just adds harsh overtones at anything except either extreme. I also wanted to improve the bass response of the amp a little. As it turns out, adding one jumper wire accomplishes both tasks. The jumper from the wiper to one end of the tone pot (shown on the latest version of the schematic) cuts some highs and makes the tone control work like a typical tone control - i.e. turn it CW for treble, CCW to cut treble."
Thanks

Never mind. I found a post with someone asking the exact question I had.
