I was looking at Strats Les Paul Studios ect. These were around $1300 range.
Picked up a PRS Singlecut and was totally amazed. Bought it half the price of the others. Excellent finish and craftsmanship and set up very nicely. No rough frets on edges. Really impressed. Sounds great. I guess expensive is not always the best. GC had a sale going on and got it for $500. Tobacco Sunburst.

These are the PRS SE series. They are made in Korea and are a very good deal for the money.

I have a couple of them as I really like the wide/fat neck profile. Both of mine have necks that are actually 1 3/4" wide at the nut.

I liked my PRS Singlecut so much I tried out there SE Custom Semi-Hollow Body one in natural finish and am loving it.
Just great guitars. I think I am hooked.
I think I'll get one more in natural finish but with the soap bar pickups.

I have one, but it has a supernatural finish.....
