i get excellent results in this boosting the gain to a nice overdriven sound on my Strat. The only thing I was wondering is that it adds some pretty good bottom end. Is there a capacitor I could put in so when I kick it on it doesn't add so much bass. Thanks

bw, Depends. Are you willing to dive into The Dark Side? Also, if this unit has any warranty left, I'd carefully consider my options before just busting down the door, so to speak. But in essence, yes, it can be done. I might suggest a pot to control the actual effect, but if that's not feasible (like, where to put it ), then some judicious experimenting will suffice. If the amp has an FX loop, maybe not as much bass thru it. Maybe a switched high-pass cap on the vol. pot?

It is out of warranty and there is plenty of room because the only knob on it is the gain knob. Thanks

Do you have (get) a schematic for it?
Can you post pics of the insides?
