In a three pickup config, will it be ok to mix two standard single coil and a lace in the third position?? ange Hi ange, So long as the polarity is appropriate and the output matches "suits" the other pickups, I don't see why not. Having said that, I seem to recall some members having issues with the wiring of lace pickups ... I think that's what I recall. What lace pickup are you considering? D2o

I don't have any lace sensors in any of my guitars, but I have read more good comments than complaints about that pickup, for what it's worth - and the comments seem to suggest happiness no matter where you put it ... weird, wierd, wired It seems to be intended as a middle or neck pup, but some have used it in the bridge as well with apparently pleasing results. I am not sure if attention needs to be paid to polarity or not ... there is some suggestion that it is a transducer pickup, and some mention of TBX as well.
