Chris ... Come on back, friend. I know you already know it, and I'll say it anyway ... we recognize and miss the valuable contributions you make. Let me assure you that the full effect of your departure was, and is, acute. ... and by the way, Chris, we miss you too, pal. D2o P.S., I am sure there's more to it, but certain individuals have, bottom line, tried to make amends ... in their own limited way.

First it was the marital bliss outbreak...now we're watching milk cartons looking for Chris...
All kidding aside, Chris's contributions ranging from the hyper-technical to the acerbic are greatly missed.
I learned a lot from Chris. He helped me finish and understand the nuts and bolts of the 3 minor humble designs I struggled through here. Thanks again for pounding the knowledge in there, Chris.
I haven't been here as long as some of you. I have been here long enough to look forward to anything Chris posted...not that I understood all of it by any means... I even enjoyed it when the acid wit was pointed in my direction. He made me think rather then just doing it for me.
Take a little rest, Chris, and enjoy the break. The door is always open. We'll leave a few pounds of solder and some wire on the table for you...
Happy Trails

Apart from echoing Cynical's sentiments, I should like to also go on record to acknowledge Chris' valuable contributions...
..many has been the time I have sat here at the bottom of the globe in the dead of night, and suddenly realised I was finally able to understand some Fender-foresaken lump of electronic wizardry purely because of one of his posts.
Chris, whatever your final decision regarding ongoing involvement in and with this forum, at least please understand that you are, and always wil be, deeply appreciated.

Where did he go? What happened? There's a bunch of guys here that always help me out, but Chris (we're talking about ChrisK?) is an absolute freakin genius who has helped me solve seemingly impossible problems. I'll be very sad if he doesn't have anything more to do with this forum.
