Sadly laughing at the absurdity of man, who kills so easily and violently, then once a year sends out a card wishing for Peace on Earth. Merry Christmas and Happy Solstice Nutz!

Killing each other with what?
Sour notes?
Disco fever?
Hair metal?
I'll take Sean Connery for $400, Alex!

I'll take Sean Connery for $400, Alex! Name the edgy 1960's Sean Connery film where five new prisoners struggle to survive in the face of brutal punishment and sadistic guards in a North African military prison during World War II.

That would be "The Hill" (1965).
And how in the hell did we get from holiday greetings to obscure Sean Connery movies?

How? Because of several SNL skits that portrayed S.C. as a very foul-mouthed player on a sendup of Jeopardy. The Hill's protagonist continually referred to Alex Trebek's mother as an hourly-paid escort of the night. My reference was to that reference, an allegedly funny, if obscure, take-off on S.C. always "killing 'em" with his jokes (that he continually botched). Did that help any? sumgai

OK, I follow that. A bit round-about, but I follow you . . .
