I've been looking at this for a while, and while I would need to adjust a few things to do it long term, I was wondering if anybody could verify that Figure 3 in the link will work, and NOT blow up my guitar. The way I understand, the "to clip" clip connects where you would normally put a single 9v If this works, I will see if I can go and get some sound clips from my uncles house. EDIT: I suppose you want the link home.comcast.net/~mgollihur/emgmod.html

stratty, EMG themselves say it will work, so what's to worry..... And yes, when you're done assemblying two battery clips together, so that they feed into the standard "clip" coming from the EMG circuitry, Figure 3 is what it will look like. HTH sumgai

Oh, I knew that putting two 9v's in series would work. I am just unfamiliar with the clips. I wanted to make sure the harness wasn't backwards, because I don't know what will happen if you put the battery in the wrong way. I've always been told don't try putting batteries backwards.

Just did it. I really dig the tone. It feels less compressed. I'm still trying to find a way to get audio clips here...
