Those who have been here a while will definitely have come across UnklMickey, who was a prolific, enthusiastic, thoughtful, amusing and sometimes irascible contributor to this forum, up until he disappeared unexpectedly just over two years ago. We don't know what happened, but I fear he may have passed. He made many helpful posts, which are still here, but his diagrams are no longer visible since his photobucket account has gone inactive. So I decided to restore his ttree main design threads in the schematics section, by caching his diagrams elsewhere and adding new links. I kept the original links too, just for reference. Here there are: This one is a design using a rotary switch to select many options from a hum-bucker and a single coil: Unk's Hum SingHere is Unks Big Ugly scheme, which uses a superswitch and two push pulls to control two humbuckers: Unk's Big UglyAnd this, is his epic thread exploring the issues around series and parallel, in the context of Brain May style switching: Unk's Brian May TrilogyUnk tolerated no compromise in the purity of his wiring schemes, so they are well worth a look! cheers John (re-posted from main E/W section)
