.... spitfire realizes that he's just had yet another birthday, so he starts figuring out how to tell the other half that having G.A.S. and a birthday at the same time isn't really such a bad thing at all. ;D Here's to ya, mate - don't get p d tonight, eh? At least, not too much! sumgai

Many thanks Sumgai. Older, but probably not very much wiser... .... spitfire realizes that he's just had yet another birthday, so he starts figuring out how to tell the other half that having G.A.S. and a birthday at the same time isn't really such a bad thing at all. Well, I'm not yet blessed with another half, so... less explaining!! Also, this is probably me being thick, but GAS? Sounds like summat to do with them there geetar thingies..? Here's to ya, mate - don't get p d tonight, eh? At least, not too much! Not too likely; nice and relaxing does the trick Plus pretty much everyone has gone home from uni for the Easter holiday - the only people left are the real life Bristolians (as opposed to the term-time ones like me!), who I know through our church; most of my housemates have gone by now Wait... that means... AMP TO ELEVEN!! ;D

Spitfire- Don't set that Birthday Pint on top then . .
"G.A.S." stands for "Guitar (or, sometimes, "gear") Acquisition Syndrome". This is a serious psychological malady, in which the sufferer (despite already owning 2 Teles, a Strat, an LP, and all manner of pedals, amps &etc.) simply must have that PRS single cut that's hanging on the wall down at the local music store.
The afflicted often hear voices, particularly those of guitars, whispering "Buy Me!".
The only known treatment is "Retail Therapy".
And have a Happy one . . .

Over my cold dead hands! (Hmmm, maybe there's a Les Paul/Mary Ford clinic that can help?..)
