Aria Pro II

Hey everyone,
I am days away from buying a 70's Aria Pro II. It's one of those Japanese Les Paul copies. This one looks more like a Schecter lp copy.

Has anyone ever played an Aria? I've heard that at times they can actually be better than Les Pauls. I just wanted to contact some real professionals before I purchased it.

Back in the early 80's I had an Aria Pro II bass...don't remember the model, but I do recall that I liked the neck.

I don't recall anything particularly bad about it. I was living in CO. at the time, and had a guitar player buddy type guy who had a similar model to what you have pictured. I do recall he raved about it so much that I bought the bass.

The bass got sold for some damn reason, but it wasn't because it sucked.

So, how's that for virtually no help?
