I've finally finished modding my Tele. Here's the latest incarnation.... Awhile back I replaced The bridge pup with a Lawrence Black Label and replaced the stock plastic nut with bone. Recently I replaced the stock neck pup with a RW/RP Strat pup and changed from the stock saddles to the 3 brass ones. The bone nut & brass saddles really livened up the tone & playability. That combined with the upgraded pups really made a difference & I really had to rethink my amp settings. For the electronics I adapted ChrisK's 3 single coils & the s-none switch guitarnuts2.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=schem&action=display&thread=3153 to work with a 2-pup guitar. Forgive my "stick people" drawing - here's how I wired it: Switch down is stock Tele settings & Switch up is as follows: 3- N * B 2- (N + cap) * B 1- B + cap I used 500K pots with a .047 tone cap -the vol pot's a push/push switch for the S/P switching. I really like the series settings .I used a .022 cap on the switch but while it's a noticeable change in tone it's not that big a difference so I may experiment with cap values later. Thanks for lookin' -lpf3

lpf3-
I moved your thread since finished work really belongs in the gallery. No biggie- but post more pix now that it's here!
I like the idea of the Strat SC at the neck, I may have to give that a try someday.
