Zinky Encore amp head volume fades, sound gritty

New to me Zinky Custom Encore Amp after playing a few hours a day, volume fades and sound gets gritty, clean and gain channels.
Friend had it switched out all tubes, problem still happens without warning, may sound fine a week to a month then it happens again.

I don’t know what the issue is, but I thought Zinky amps have a lifetime warranty … no?

Swapping out the tubes, if that is all you’ve done, is normal maintenance and (I would think) should not impact the warranty.

Why not drop Bruce Zinky a line at [e-mail] ?

Yea, gave Bruce Zinky a thought, trying to get a quick fix if possible without shipping it off for awhile, I guess it wouldn't hurt to give him a call.

My thought was that it may even be a known issue that he can solve "remotely", and - if it isn't - a small, boutique builder like zinky would likely be appreciative of being made aware of any such issue.
