Ok so i did this wiring from an old magazine i found in the basement called Dan Armstrong's super strat. It sounds pretty cool and here it is.  I hope this is usefull to someone lol And now for my question, In the diagram all of the black wires are on the same side but my middle pickup was switched around(i think most newer guitars have this) i just did it and did not give this much thought. Is the phasing or noise cancelling(still don't realy know the difference  )messsed up because or this?? Oh in the mag it said that all combinations were in phase. Thnx ppl love this forum ;D |

As far as I can tell from a set of newer pup's I have laying around, it only appears to be reversed.
The wiring is the same. There is only so much room to jimmy the wires around without destroying or binding the thin coil wire itself.
The reversed appearing wires are a different color as well. Yellow and Black, instead of White and Black.
The lead wires are overlapping each other on all the pup's except one. I believe all is well.
If anyone sees a difference in the way the wiring from the pup's actually are, please post your interpritation and or your opinion.

first of all, i hope this diagram raises the bar in terms of what to expect from drawings on this site. from now on i wanna see full-on shaded 3D drawings!  animated, if possible. ;D happyguy, do you mean that on the middle pickup, the black wire is on the instead of on the right, like on the neck and bridge pickups? they might've made them to indicate that the middle one is reverse wound. however, the hot + ground wires are usually the same color on all pups. you should hear if it's out of phase. there will be a noticeable volume drop + a nasal tone. |

Ok thanx guys all i meant was that on the middle pickup the different colour wires were on different sides. I followed it with the colors in the picture anyways so i guess im fine. Haven't notice any nasal tones so im good!
