I hope anyone here has one and can help me...
you have 4 mods to use in the g-major. I use 2 modifiers (cc4 and cc7).
From the manual I understand that you can assign any of the modifiers to anything listed.
So, my preset 55 has cc7 controlling the delay mix. Works well. But when I load my preset 56 which has NO mod assigned, cc7 will STILL modify my delay mix! I thiught the MODS where PER PRESET, but they turn out to be GLOBAL??
Or am I missing something?
Goal here is to have Cubase running along and switching all my FX etc...

ge,
In PC 56, you haven't reassigned the function of CC7 - it's still set to control the delay. Until you change to some different patch that forces CC7 to another function, this will remain true.
I'm not familiar with the G-Major (except that it's way too expensve!!), but if you have a computer software editor for that thing, then I suggest that you go through the entire patch set and make sure that CC7 has some assigned function on every patch. You want it to do something, anything, so long as it's what you expect..... you don't want it to remain in "the previous setting", causing you to scratch your head, and wonder, "is this a global thing?" - which of course it isn't. (This holds true for every CC you can modify, even if you don't plan on using some of them.)
In MIDI parlance, just because you change a program (PC) doesn't mean that you've changed any of the controllers (CC) or their assignments - you must manually ensure that CC changes are assigned the way you want them to be, or else they just remain as they are from some previous setting.

oh yeah I got it now. After reading yer post I noodled with it again and what I was missing is that the MODS stay the same all the time, it's the expressionpedals you hook up, they dont change per preset. What you assign the mods to does change per preset...
jeeej!! works like a charm!!
