I just wanted to share a nice place to get speakers for a NICE price. This operation is selling Celestions pretty cheap, I got 2 of the 12" 30 watt 8 ohm for myself, and they have a nice midrange fat sound to them. You can also find them on eBay, usually in pairs or quads for even less than they are selling them on the website.

i bought 4 of those G1230 MGs a few years ago .
at the time the set of 4 ran about $90 if i remember correctly .

they are ok ... but being used to G12T75s and G12K85s they were not up to par for me .
i put the G1230s in a Legion 4x12 , and paired it with a Marshall VS100 head .
i sold the half stack to my brother who gigged with it for a year or so before he sold it.

the speakers sounded ok , and handled everything the Marshall Valvestate could dish out ... they were a good value

I have 2 of the same speakers, that I just bought this summer. I mounted them into a sealed box, which was originally a car subwoofer box. Turns out it works awesome for guitar speakers, and the best part was the price-the box was free. Turns out I like that midrange-strong british type punk sound, with a nice low end. I really don't like a ton of highs in my setup, so these speakers are ideal fur mich.(for me)

Before I bought them, I was reading some reviews about them, and someone complained about the magnets being too small. I think that they help the speakers be more portable, not adding 50 lbs per speaker. I got mine on the 'bay for less than what they want on the website.
