3 new styles infact: more photos here: www.flickr.com/photos/variax/ (theres a lot of colour options available) For those of you unfamilar with the variax (very few if any), its simply a modelling system built into the guitar to digitally process the outputed sound so for example, change the tuning digitally but not manually. these new ones maintain all the old features plus some new ones. Upgrades: theres now a virtual capo feature demostrated in this video tuning can be changed via a dial on the guitar without having to plug into variax workbench The bridges have been changed to be more stable (details here tylervariax.com/2010/04/22/72/stay-tuned/)Now come with custom wound pickups so can be used traditionally as a bypass as well The modelling processes have been improved with higher performance parts more details here: www.TylerVariax.comWhat do you all think? I'd definitely say its made the Variax far more practical and better looking
