O.K., I may be a troglodite, but I have no idea about how to wire EMG's. I have a Strat I picked up at a garage sale for $20.00 (NO LIE!!) that had EMG pickups in it. After dressing the neck & stuff I took a look at the electronics, and, first-off, there is no stereo jack, which I know is needed. The capacitor is a 100mF ceramic disk, and whover wired it up put one battery in for each pick-up. It was also grounded to the trem-claw. Could someone direct me to a picture of the wiring diagram for an emg-equipped Strat, and do they get shielded with EMG's, like you do with regular pickups?

Next, are they actual active EMG's or rather Selects, or the new HZ's? That's important. Chesh
