Hi everyone noobie here! i just got given a bass by a mate that needs rewiring. This is my first go so bear with me. Ive got a new barrel jack which has 3 prongs one big one medium and one small. Id just like to know what each prong is for . sounds like a jack with prongs which act as on-off switches, usually used on instruments w/ active electronics. plugging in completes the connection, unplugging turns the active bits off. btw, yr link doesn't show jack. as it were.

Whatever jack it is, if you just wanna know which prong goes to the + or - lead, it's pretty simple: plug a mono plug in ! ;D The + prong is the one that connects to point A, and the - prong is the one that connects to point B.
