Hi, I have an LP that needs to have the bridge and tail studs driven down into the body. They are just up a bit. What is a good technique for this. Maybe a socket driver that is the correct size used to tap it down??

I generally use a rubber mallet. For the bridge posts just screw in the posts, tap in, unscrew about 1/8", tap again...repeat until they're in.
If your rubber mallet is chewed up as small piece of pine or soft wood over the post/studs will help as you're whacking...er...tapping away...
