This is from a dude on the DIYStompboxes forum. A pretty good idea, though I'm sure input-Z is a bit low, and it probably wants a signal level higher than a typical guitar, so like he says it wants a preamp or something in front.

ash, Great find! Indeed, those "iPod" retransmitters do expect to see about 32Ω or so, in the impedance department. Still, his stompbox was proof enough that the unit will tolerate a wide latitude in that regard. But when all is said and done, if you have to have a battery on board anyways, to power this thing, you might as well stuff a single-FET buffer in there too, eh? sumgai

For a wireless system. I think a cheap wireless microphone should be easy to modify
