Can anyone help me with a problem I have... I'M GOING CRAZYYYYY I have a Fender Strat that I want so separate volume controls. I used the schematics from guitarnuts2.proboards.com/page/gn1-pagesThe volumes work ok but when I turn the volume down my nightmare begins... to much HUM...!!! The volume are wired backwards as the notice is warning but the hum.... ARGHHH!!! I'm going crazy!!! I think that when you turn down the volume the signal from the cable isn't shorting with the ground, it's the pickup that is shorted.... I use 1M Ohm audio pots. I don't plan to use tone control... Please help me... Regards, Edson Rodrigues Portugal

Edson - If you havnt already, take a look at the Guitarnuts section on troubleshhoting noise: Some questions: does the problem apply with one pickup selected?, or the other pickup?, or both together? If you turn both volumes down to zero, do you get the hum? Is the hum worse, or different, to the normal hum from a single coil pickup? If you have a multimeter, measure the resistance across the output jack with one pickup or both pickups selected, at full and zero volume. Answers to any of these may give a clue, or it may be a undetected wiring error, or it may just need shielding and grounding as described in Guitarnuts. good luck, post your results for more feedback John
