Gee, that's 2 TS questions in one day!
Must be a Hair Metal convention going on somewheres! ;D ;D ;D
(Just kidding, I've actually had my eye on one of these for a while now)
Our resident pedal guru is flateric, who not only has modded Tube Screamers but builds his own as well. I think he's posted some of these below. He hasn't been around much lately, but still checks in from time to time.
As far as diagrams, there are many diagrams for various TS mods out on the web. What exactly is it that you want it to do?

OK, let me see what I can find.
Since a schematic is out, what you'll need is a veroboard, aka "stripboard", layout. If you look at JohnH's posting for the "Blue Juice Overdrive", in the "Effects Schematics" sub-board here, you'll see what I mean. You use the parts numbering, and the component values, off of the schematic, and correlate the components to the stripboard.
If you haven't done this sort of soldering before, there is a learning curve. You might want to start out on a simpler circuit than diving right in and cloning your TS. In any event, buy plenty of spare parts for the inevitable foul up or two.

OK, here's one possibility: The "TubeReamer" from RunoffgrooveThis has both a schematic and a perfboard diagram. A PCB layout is also available. EDIT:And one from Tonepad. They will also sell you a ready to solder PCB for $14 USD.

it'd be nice if they included the input/output jacks and the potentiometers as i'll need to know how the're wired and no worries about spare parts i buy in bulk whenever possible cause you never know when you'll need it or when it'll come in handy on another project ya know and it saves quite abit of$$$ in the long run too which is always good

As you are finding out, there's a few different TS models out there - most diy kits and mods tend to focus on the original maxxon 808 tubescreamer stolen by ibanez as the ts8, that tends to be the most popular one. Further variations of this used some swapped out components and different value caps but didn't add much to the original circuit.
