I need a neck for a Fender Jazz Bass 24, and have had no luck. As the name implies, it has 24 frets and a six bolt pattern. Obviously , Fender has no interest in supplying one, and all the major custom shops (Warmoth, USA CG, etc.) can't do it. No sign of one on ebay or any other web site. If any one can help out here, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Greetings and welcome to the Nutz House.
Well, a Fender Jazz 24 is a bit of an anomaly...so I can understand the shortage of sources for a replacement.
Just out of curiosity, is this a replacement for a failed neck, or one that was damaged in action?
As far as the aftermarket supplying the neck, as with most things, if you throw enough money at them they'll be happy to do it. I would have to wonder if the cost for such a neck wouldn't be that short of a replacement bass since I recall these were all manufactured offshore...
Have you contacted Fender about a replacement? Even if there isn't a warranty situation they will generally sell you a replacement if you go far enough up the food chain asking for one. However, if Fender does sell you a replacement I'm sure it wouldn't be cheap.
Finally, is there some issue that precludes the neck from being repaired?
Happy Trails

After some digging around I did find a 24 fret 34" scale bass neck. Follow the link to Treker GuitarsThe headstock is obviously different, and the base maple neck starts at $295.00...and for an adder you can get flamed maple, birdseye maple, ebony or rosewood fretboards. Unless you get lucky on eBay this is going to be about the best price you're going to find for a 34" scale 24 fret bass neck. Aside from that, I'm tapped. HTC1
