Recently aquired a Pignose G40V. The power transformer craped out. Ran a continuity check and found a hole in one of the secondary coils. Need to replace the transformer with something good, not "Made in China". Any thoughts?

Are you asking what brand to use or what the size/rating /specs should be?
A schematic would be needed if it's the latter. I'm unfamiliar with the amp so I don't have any specific recommendations as to the former.

Yes and yes to all...
I have a schematic. Don't really know how to read them. I have seen a guitar nuts post for some really interesting re-wiring. Just trying to find out how to fix the dern thing so it will play music.
Not a strong electronics guy. Just know enuff to be dangerous.But, I would like to make this amp work. I know I can fix it, just need a little help.
