I have a telecaster that i had sheilded with the insturctions on this website. I jsut changed my neck pickup to a seymour duncan little '59. Now i am having problem with like a buzz that stops when i touch the switch area. Anybody know what my problem could be? Any advice would be greatly mappreciated. thanks

Did you star ground everything per the Quieting the Beast mod? The bare and green wires need to be soldered to ground. I had this same problem with my dual humbucker strat and discovered I had a ground loop. Once that was eliminated the buzz went away.

oh. so since i have the new type of pickup in my tele i need to star ground. do i need the use a capacitor also? because there is not alot of room in the control cavity.

You can use the cap if you can get it. I didn't in my guitar but I will add it once I get a few of those caps. Just run a wire from the star ground ring to the ring that slips on to one of the pots shafts.
You don't "have" to star ground since you put that pickup in, but it is beneficial since it removes all the ground loops and descreases that noise.

You can use the cap if you can get it. I didn't in my guitar but I will add it once I get a few of those caps. I believe I have a source for those caps. I'm thinking of getting them and sending them to the members here for just the cost plus postage. Chesh
