On the seymour duncan diagram for a humbucker (bridge tele) there is a black, white, red and green wire. Not shown on the diagram is an uncovered wire that I think goes to the ground along with the Green but I can't be sure. Can anyone help?

That's the bare wire which goes to ground with the green wire.
If you are going to wire it in standard humbucker mode without any splitting, solder the red and white wires together then cover with tape. Connect the black wire to the 3 way switch, green and bare to ground.
